This tea is made from carefully selected, first-grade tea harvested in Kyoto Prefecture, which is then roasted thoroughly and painstakingly.
The sweetness and aroma are in perfect balance.
In order to make the most of the natural flavor of the tea leaves, we lowered the roasting temperature and roasted the tea lightly.
Although the tea leaves will retain a slight green tinge, the aroma and flavor of the tea leaves will stand out.

We use carefully selected first-grade tea grown in Kyoto Prefecture. Although tea production in Uji now accounts for just 3% of the national tea production, we continue to produce this tea with great care and history.


Hojicha tea has a low caffeine content and can be safely consumed by small children.
When eating greasy food, we recommend roasted green tea, which has a refreshing aftertaste.
Because it is lightly roasted, the green color of the tea leaves remains.
It preserves the natural aroma of the tea leaves.
