The first president, Hitoshi Inoue, moves from Kyoto to Hokkaido.

June 1952
Joined Ujien as Managing Director
June 1960: Left the company
Founded in September 1960 as Inoue Shoten in Kita-ku, Sapporo
In October 1966, the company was reorganized as Uji Tea Co., Ltd.
Hitoshi Inoue was appointed as the representative director.
January 1972: Newly built office, factory and warehouse at current location. Expanded sales channels mainly in Hokkaido/Central Hokkaido.
June 1986: Expanded storefront, office and packaging plant
April 1992: Takashi Inoue joined the company
In May 1998, he started an Internet business.
May 2009: Hitoshi Inoue passes away
December 2010: Opened Japanese tea cafe Charakuou
February 2024 Store relocation: 8-1-41 Satozuka Midorigaoka, Kiyota-ku, Sapporo
